Anyone else's child experience something similar?

Wed, 08/12/2015 - 14:52

Dear all,

Just wanted to see if any other parents' have had a similar experience. Our daughter has had 4 episodes in the last 10 months. Basically, every time it has happened it's been when she has been trying to fall asleep after being exhausted. Her head rolls back and she starts like chewing and squirming a bit. It lasts like a minute or two and then she comes out of it and she usually goes to sleep since that is what she was trying to do before. We try and talk to her and she know her name, colors, etc. Has anyone else seen anything like that? So far, it has only happened when she is trying to fall asleep. We took her for an EEG which they made her be sleep deprived and nothing, but she did have one the next day.
