adding cbd oil

my son who has grande mal seizures is on 30 mg of onfi..it makes him groggy and depressed > he is also on a small amount of lamictal. He is 21 years old. we have added 25 mg of cbd oil per day. He has been seizure free for two years. I want him to go down 5 mg on onfi and increase cbd oil but he is afraid of having another seizure.. has anyone had similar experiences?

Please be sure his neurologist is aware of what you are doing. I say that because the therapeutic levels built up in his body might be right where they ned to be. Another thing that can happen is he could start having seizures again and go into status epilepticus. His neurologist would know which rescue medications would work best to bring him out of it
