Amy when a medication is

Amy when a medication is created for a certain type of seizure or epilepsy and is approved it can be put on the market. The testing doesn't stop there. It is then tested for other seizures. It is also tested to see which medications it can be coupled with. The testing can go on for years after the medication goes on the market. I have been in many drug tests for newer medications with fewer side effects. .

Please tell me what

Please tell me what phenobarbitol was made for. was it originally created for seizures? Which kind of seizures did it treat? Please inform me since I took it for years along with dilantin and tegratol.  Can a person have more then 1 type of seizure? If they can can a medication created to treat one type of seizure be used to treat the other type of seizure. I understand what you are saying but I also know more about medications and how they can be couples together to treat other seizures. Along with knowing that a medication created to treat one thing can and is used to treat other things. Why is phenobarbitol used as a sleeping pill?
