Hi, My son, Thomas started having seizures in June. Myoclonic, tonic clonic, drop attacks, and absences. He just turned 4yr old in September.I know its really frightening, but you will learn to cope with it.I am still learning, but alot further on than I was at the beginning.Keep logging on to this site, I'm sure you'll find it really helpful to know you are not alone in fighting this battle and there are lots of parents just like you who are further down the road who will give you lots of good advise and info. Although I'm just a newbie at dealing with E, feel free to contact me anytime. A big hug for your son and best wishes to you and your family Linda x

Thank you so much for your response. I feel bad looking for support about my son when other people seem to have it so much worse. You are obviously dealing with a lot more than I am, I am sorry for your little guy. Its so hard when they are small isnt it? Thanks again for the support

Never feel bad about looking for support for your son. That's why we're all on this forum - to support each other. It doesn't matter what type of seizure a child has, it is always heart breaking to watch your child suffer. x
