Wada test

Hi everyone, I Went to See Neurologist today. He put my mind at rest. I don't feel quite as nervous as I first did. I have decided to go through with the WADA test next Monday 20th March. So please god all will go well. I would spend the rest of my life wondering if i don't go through with it. Please god all will go well.:-) Raid

Hi Raid I totally agree with you there. I am in exactly the same position as you right now and if I didn't go through with the wada test I would be wondering the same has you are. It is only natural!! I am even just curious too find out which side of my temporal lobes deals with my memory. My GP said to me a couple of months ago that a patient has the right to refuse the operation upto just before they begin to operate. So don't feel pressurized just because you have the wada test done that you can't change your mind. Let me know how you get on with the Wada Test. We can compare notes then. Take Care Teri

I go in this Tues, the 21st for a wada. My memory already is lousy so when the doc told me its to see which side my memory is on (of brain) im saying...what memory ? take phenobarb at nite and it takes coffee in a.m. to rouse me. my memory already has 2 strikes against it! How long were you under? did you stay overnite? md wants me to stay for observation.

Hi Ivy, I was on Phenobarb when I was very young. One spoonful and I was very very sick after.I was put onto tegretal and it kinda did the trick. But since then I have been a lot of medications. I sometimes have a very very bad memory. I would like to wish you the very best of luck with your Wada test on Tuesday. I hope it goes well for you.
