being sick and also sleep deprieved can lower your seizure threshold making it more likely to have a seizure.

My triggers are Nostalgia. Anything from my childhood like an old toy, hearing an old song, looking at a yearbook, will spark my seizures. I have Complex Partial in the Temporal lobe where memories are stored so thats why nostalgia is a trigger. Also bright flashes, sudden noises, anything that catches me off guard will send me into it. My doctor also told me to not drink caffeine. It makes me more likely to have them. Also nitrates are another thing we're trying to get out of my diet. I hope this has helped.
