Temporal complex partial siezures

I was wondering just how long do actual seizures last. Has anyone ever had one that lasted long enough to actually physically go somewhere without realizing it? Are long term non-stop hiccups cause siezures, are are they actually siezures in them selves?

Hello Talitha, I have Complex Partial Seizures and before I gave up my driving I would drive for 5 or more minutes without knowing I wasn't aware of it. It would usually end up with an accident. There was this one time while living in Texas that I was taking my son to boyscouts and I had a seizure on the Freeway. I stopped my car (during a seizure) and turned my car off and rolled down the window ( my ex mother in law now told me son not to wake me cause I would come out of it) I then rolled up the window and started my car and drove across town to drop my son off and drove back home, and (with GOD as my witness) to this day I don't remember dropping him off there or the drive home. It still is eery not remembering it. That is about the longest time I have been out during a seizure. About the hiccups I don't have a clue what to tell you about that. Good luck finding your answer. Cathy
