TB Skin Test and Epilepsy?

I am curious. My seven year old daughter has epilepsy that started a few days after having an tuberculosis skin test. Has anyone else noticed epilepsy starting after the TB skin test or similar tests?

Hi and welcome Chad! You've found a great place here. I can't say I've ever heard anything about epilepsy starting after tb test, but maybe if she already had epilepsy and no one knew, she had a seizure because of the stress of having the test. Keep asking questions here and reading the info on this site to help get the proper treatment for her. Good wishes, smiles and prayers.

Hi, I have had epilepsy all just about all my life. Too make a long story short. I had to get a TB test in October, cause I got a job at the local school. Well after a few days I started haveing drop seizures. My neurologist said the TB test shouldn't have mattered. It was just the fact that we were trying to get the right dose of meddicine in me. Plus I was on new meddicen.
