Some sort of seizure?

Tue, 03/03/2015 - 11:50

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice on whether you think this sounds like a seizure.
For a few years now, I get this thing maybe once a month or so. It only lasts for about 4 seconds and it's a very intense feeling like nothing I've felt before. I usually end up slouching down and holding onto my head for a few seconds because it feels like I'm dying or fainting. It's hard to explain but the best way I could describe it is like something getting interrupted for a few seconds in your brain, or as if your brain got electrocuted. I usually get them when I'm just sat on the sofa or in bed watching a movie or something (very relaxed). I feel fine before and after - it's literally just a few seconds where I feel bad (although I am always a bit freaked out by it afterwards!)
I couldn't find anything on Google but, going on what I can imagine a seizure feeling like, that seems to best describe it. Grateful for any advice!
