Seizures?

Thu, 09/29/2016 - 02:59
I'm in my 40's. Since I was young, I have had what seems to be seizures? What happens is when I'm about to fall asleep, I suddenly can't move or talk or yell out, but I can see. I get terrified feelings. It lasts what seems a minute or less. Then it stops and I can move again. This only happens when trying to sleep and happens a few times a year. If I remember correctly, it happens more if I sleep on my back, which I just can't do. I've always slept on my sides or stomach. If I lay on my back, I won't sleep or get these seizure like episodes. It also happens more when I'm hot. I'd rather it be cold, wrapped in blankets than to sleep in temperatures warmer than 75. What's going on? Do I have epilepsy? Are these even seizures?
