Seizure or something else?

Wed, 05/10/2017 - 20:41
I had my first seizure (tonic clonic) about a week ago and since then have seen a neurologist. Last night I started to feel strange and anxious and my breathing was irregular, I got scared and thought maybe another seizure was coming, all that happened was my thighs and body started shaking and like spasming. I was kind of getting ready for bed so I just tried to call my breathing and fall asleep, there was a feeling when I was laying almost like when you're falling asleep and you wake up like you're falling. I don't think I was falling asleep though because the muscle spasms were so intense there was no way. I felt so anxious and I'm wondering if this is a different kind of seizure or even a panic attack. I have an EEG tomorrow so I'm hoping that tells me more but I would really appreciate any input, thank you!

Odd feelings like that can be

Odd feelings like that can be siezures, however, since u just had your 1st tonic-clonic a week ago it could just be paranoid thinking ( like many of us do). You should tell your dr about any "odd" feelings you have. Such as tastes, smells, sights, or just "feelings" you have. He should be able to tell you if these things are significant or not. Best advice I can give, good luck, and keep us updated.
