Questions...new here and new to epilepsy.

Hi, I am Nickie. My son Ty who is 8 recently was injured by another student at school which has resulted in seizures...his EEG shows focal and general, MRI was clear. We are currently on his 3rd medication. First one cause really bad rage, depression, bad stomach upset, and wasn't controlling his seizures. Switched and he delevoped an allergic reaction, his new one started 5 days ago, and since being on it has a seizure every day, yesterday he bit his tongue so badly it is purple/blue. Does anyone recommend anything to help with the pain so he can't eat? Will it get easier?? I just hope to find a medication he can take that will help!
