possible nocturnal seizures, has anyone experienced them?

Fri, 08/11/2017 - 14:16
I'm waiting to undergo a sleep study for something that resembles nocturnal seizures. I have some sort of aura that precedes it even during the day but only actual seizures while sleeping/waking. During the day, the best way to describe it is it feels like there's someone there when there isn't. That continues most of the day and will be strongest right before the seizure if it happens as I'm falling asleep. I'll feel like there's someone there, get super dizzy, and fall into a almost asleep state. It feels like being underwater, I can't move, can't or don't want to open my eyes, and it's excruciatingly painful. It feels like electric shocks all over. Sometimes I'll be asleep and it'll wake me up. If I sleep with music I will recall the song and be able to prove that it did happen and when. Recently though they seem to more unconscious than conscious. It's hard to tell if it's a dream or real, the seizures(?) are so scary that I pray every time so in the mostly unconscious ones, I'll remember being in pain and praying but it still turns into a dream because it happens in the middle of sleeping and I fall back asleep immediately after. It's so hard to explain XD has anyone experienced nocturnal seizures? What do they feel like? I feel like it isn't a partial seizure since I can't move but I'm really not sure. I think the trigger is light related, almost anytime I'm in fluorescent light too long I'll have a seizure that night or the night after :/
