I am new to this and am so confused/scared/ and hoping to get relief. I am 21 years old female and have had some weird feelings. I am diagnosed with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and always thinking something is wrong with me. I work 8.5 hours five days a week with constant standing. I wax eyebrows and do makeup. The past few months my anxiety and stress has returned after a series of life altering events. While I am with my clients I get a feeling of being "out of it" or depersonalization. I am in full conversation with my clients and am waxing there eyebrows. I explain my feeling to a dr and he said sounds like a peitie mal seizure. I rushed to the er and they ran blood tests saying I'm ok and doesn't sound like one. I get a big dizzy too when this happen and I get a little anxious since I'm fearing I'll pass out in front of my client. I am going to get a ct scan Friday. But I am literally heart broken. I have so much going on in my life I can't even get a grip on thinking I have another challenge to face. I felt his diagonosis was extreme of a seizure since I am with clients all day I feel as if someone would of caught if I was zoning out or messing up theri brows or not responding to them for a second. I did a lot of research and don't know if just having brain fog means a seizure? Please help. I am suppose to start medicine for my anxiety but dr is holding off due to waiting on tests......

Petite mal seizures ??? In a

Petite mal seizures ??? In a petite mal seizure the person can be seen and looked at with the people think the person in the seizure is day dreaming. I had been written up for day dreaming in class for over a year when those day dreams were actually seizures. I also have focal seizures which can look like a day dream but in those seizures I can hear and understand what people are saying. My answer to their question could be delayed a few seconds.Simple partial seizures can also be a type of seizure you have posted. As for going to the ER and you  rushing to it.... The ER's personel are good and they do run tests. Those tests are basic tests run on almose everybody. Blood tests will not show anything having to do with epilepsy. The CT sacn will not show what is needed to get a diagnosis. Only a neurologist who sepcializes in epilepsy make a diagnosis. They can listen to your information. They can ask questions and with that information they may ask for tests. Those tests would start with a EEG and a MRI. The EEG is a brain wave test showing the electrical output from areas in your brain. The MRI shows every part of your brain. If the EEG shows abnormalities (seizure activity) they will see where in the brain it is comming from. With that information they will then look closer in that area and check it close on the MRI.  There will be times the EEG will come back normal. I had 20-25 all come back normal. I had one come backabnormal and they looked closer that the neuro-angeogram (MRI of the 1960's) and they found scared brain tissue. SO check with your doctor and ask him if he knows a neurologist who specializes in epilepsy.
