parent of teen with seizures

Hi
I'm new to this site...looking for other parents of teens with seizure disorders.
Also hoping to find a place for my stubborn 16 year old to connect with other teens who are taking anti-convulsant medication.

aloha my love, i suffer every day. my son is 17 will be 18 in sept. he was diagnosed with epilepsy/myoclonic 2 yrs ago. it broke my heart. i home schooled him till 10 yrs and now i have him call me every minute to ask how are you? he takes a bus to and from school at 555am and leaves school at 300pm he arrives at 5pm. his need is sleep. he takes carbatrol 300mgam/450mgpm. he just started seizures in aug2004.what a surprise to me. anyway joao, my son is a good/great kid. thank you mam ,excuse me /etc. he loves all kids and excels in allkinds of history/ancient.they would like to connect. what does your child like to do? maybe chat? joao is a loner. even before this but he i a welcoming soul.leslye53
