Heh. I had not realized that there was an introduction section. My name is Traci, but I like to go by Spencer or Spence.. I don't know, I like the name better. I'm seventeen. And the rest about me being unsure as to whether or not I have epilepsy is here: http://my.epilepsy.com/?q=node/963288

Spence, I read your blog and in my opinion, you should see if your doctor will send you in for a EEG. It could be simple partials, but it could be something else too. Different types of migraines have seizures that accompany them also. What starts out with simple partials can end up being compex partials, etc. You need a more thorough exam either way to find what the problem is. Consider printing off what you wrote on your blog and showing it to your doctor. Sometimes what they read is more profound to them than what they hear. I've always felt that doctors hear better with their eyes than their ears. Take care and keep us posted! -Spiz

Thanks for answering. Removing the electrodes wouldn't hurt, would they? I'm slightly paranoid after watching Resident Evil, where the protagonist had to rip off the tubes connected to her head... How do they remove those things, then?

When I had mine done, they used a sticky paste to keep the electrodes in place. They removed it with some gentle soap and water and a soft cloth. It was not the least bit uncomfortable, and was actually even a bit pleasant. Except for the lights, which the technician let me know were showing up on my scan as "very irritating". ;-) Good luck.
