Tue, 01/23/2007 - 18:19Topic: New to Epilepsy.com
Hi eveyone, I'm new to this forum and I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been an Epileptic 21 years. It's caused by one side of my brain being smaller than the other, I always wondered why my head looked lopsided. I had surgery in 1998 which caused me to have a stroke but got rid of my tonic clonic seizures. I know have partial and complex partial seizures. Rounding off to betwee 15-20 a day but I'm still standing which is the main thing. It's great to meet you all.

welcome Edwina! sorry to hear about your stroke. I suffered a TIA (mini-stroke) but it wasn't because of any surgery. My neurologist still doesn't know why and we may never know, which seems to be the case with many. I'm fairly new myself to this forum. Anyways, it's nice to meet you! pamela
