Hi, sorry about the other start, I couldn't figure how to edit, so jstarted over...

I'm 59 years old, have had my share of medical problems most  started with a car accident in 2001, had 2 spinal surgeries, lumbar and cervical, sill have herniated discs at all levels.  I have gastroparesis (paralyzed stomach) and asthma since accident too.   I've had headaches (migraines), I've thought are from cervical spine.  I have both graves and hashimotos, have thyroid eye disease needed radiation therapy to muscles compressing optic nerve, they went in temporally thru my brain (30 times).

In December I went to the movies with my mother, when I told my husband which movie, he asked why I saw that again, we had seen it that weekend.  Next was repair person who said he'd spoke to me 30 minutes before he came, I didn't remember speaking to him, left house for food shopping.  Another time I was talking to friends about something, I was shocked to hear I went with them.  My husband is always mentioning restaurants I don't remember.  I went to nurologist, MRI with seizure protocol is tomorrow, EEG is next week, said if nothing shows I will need 3day EEG.  My memory for names and faces has never been good, I always forget where I put things, but I remember other things as though it was yesterday, on remembering test nuro gave me I got 30 out of 30, still remember 3 things he said to remember.  I'm dyslexic, went thru school memorizing lectures, since there were no accommodations then.  I'm frightened, thought I was having mini stokes when I went to nuro, didn't expect him to think I'm having seizures, or to tell me it's amnesia. Yes, the word amnesia and seizure scared me.  While I was pregnant (30 yrs ago), I was on phenobarbital for last 5 weeks, had toxemia, one visual disturbance where I saw bubbles and all moving in slow motion in front of me, never told a doctor till now, I remember trying to talk but couldn't, they called nurse to get me, wanted to deliver my daughters that night, I refused to allow them, knew it was to early.   Beginning of May I was in the hospital with ischemic colitis, I'm wearing 30 day event monitor looking for atrial fib and reason I may have passed clot...this is reason I thought I was having mini stokes.  Does this sound like seizures to you?  Can you tell me where to find things to read on this?  What kind of seizure does this sound like?  I traded in my car last weekend, suppose to pick up new car this Saturday, should I try to cancel?  I'm the primary care giver for my 92 yr dad, and 88 yr mom, I take them to doctors...I don't know what to think, I'm overwhelmed to say the least.

Dementia comes in many forms,

Dementia comes in many forms, at all ages. It's normal in small amounts, as we age our bodies beyond biology's plan for our bodies. I'm expecting that it might happen to me, though both my dad & mum died of old age without dementia.
