Never been down this road before

Hi My daughter was just recently diagnosed with Abscence seizures and I'm not really sure if that's what she's having. We don't see them at home and I have only witnessed one at her OT appt, which honestly scared me. Her school is telling me that they're not sure if they are seizures but that they feel she is more distracted. We're on another round of a different med but I really have no idea what I'm looking for, where to research, what to research or how to make sure we're pursuing the right thing. She is autistic and really isn't able to tell me what she's feeling, so I have to make deductions, based on what just took place, where we're at, how she's responding, etc. I hope this makes sense and maybe get a little bit of info of others thoughts? Thank you!
