Mon, 06/12/2017 - 11:23
Hi my name is Amber Keyser im 21 a mom and a wife! I have been having what i was told was myoclonic seizures since i was 13 or thats what my doctor then told me. They have gotten worse over the years. They went from being 1 to 2 seconds to sometimes up to 30 seconds. I get the jerks, spasms, head turning, memory loss ( as in the more seizures i have the more memories i lose i can hardly remember a month ago), i get migraines after, and i get like a tingling feeling all over my body that starts in my head! They come on will stress lack of sleep when i get to emotional flashing light extremely loud noises. What really worries me is the memory loss because i have a 10 month old son and im afraid of forgetting the memories of him growing up. I also have no insurance im a stay at home mom my husband is the only one who works and child support takes half his check. And i talked to dfs and i cant get medicaid unless im pregnant or disabled! Please i need help for my seizures!

I would suggest limiting

I would suggest limiting anything that speeds up or slows down your heart really fast. As in alcohol, caffeine, excess sugar that you really don't need. I personally had to stop eating gluten so that I started having seizures less. Start looking at what you eat and see if you can trace anything. Write it down so that you don't forget. Also, as a person that suffers from anxiety and depression as well as seizures, I know that stress can be a hard thing to battle. I would suggest starting with giving yourself a five minute break from the world, possibly when your son is asleep.
