Myoclonic jerks in infants

Sun, 02/26/2017 - 09:19
Hello, I'm new to this site and I'm sure this question has been asked before but I just can't find it. Can infants grow out of myoclonic jerks? My daughters jerks were brought on by an illness/fever when she was almost 5 months and haven't gone away yet, she's almost 7 months. Along with the jerks, she's having focal seizures. We've seen a neurologist, epileptologist and recently seen a nuero geneticist. We don't have a locked in diagnosis for her as of yet. I'm asking if the jerks go away because we've seen a decrease in them and they're softer if that makes sense. If they do grow out of them what are the signs? Any insight, advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and respond.
