Hi, I am an adult diagnosed with eplipesy about 20 years ago and have been on several medications. I just had a seizure last month and Vimpat has been added to my Keppra. I developed a case of vertigo. Has this happened to anyone else or is this a side effect? Thanks

I'm on Vimpat 100mg twice a day for 2 weeks now since Rx change after EEG where they loaded me up with 300mg during recorded seizures. I'd say I feel less stable and will stumble at times a little and generally move a little slower though I have not experienced vertigo I could imagine that happening with a higher dose and with another AED with it. I took keppra previously but not now at the same time as the Vimpat so can't really say there but keppra definitely went to my head and made me almost manic at times like I lived on caffeine so that plus the Vimpat-drunk feel could get the spins going
