maybe seizure that happened while sleeping?

Hello, I was wondering if I could have some advice. I have severe "pain attacks" often on the right side of my face. Yesterday the severe pain lasted all day. The doctor gave me basically prescription voltaren. I'm not sure if I had a seizure because I don't know what it was. I kind of woke up and saw my hand shaking, I  felt this tingling throughout my body and my legs felt like they were floating in the air... This is the first time something like that has happened to me but does this sound like some kind of seizure to you? Not planning on seeing a doctor about it until it happens again or I feel a bit more sure that it's a seizure.

doctor gave me basically prescription voltaren   I am not a doctor but from my experiance living and dealing with epilepsy for 50+ years several of the things you posted could fall into different kinds of seizures. saw my hand shaking, I  felt this tingling throughout my body and my legs felt like they were floating in the air...  Not planning on seeing a doctor about it until it happens again or I feel a bit more sure that it's a seizure.  I hope this helps and you get your issues resolved

Interested in the "severe

Interested in the "severe "pain attacks" often on the right side of my face. ... lasted all day.Is it muscular, or sensation in the skin, or wherever? In my case, one of my intercostal muscles on the right rib cage decides to "block" any control signals coming from my brain. So that one muscle decides to lock in a spasm for about 20 seconds. I have yet to work out what triggens it. It happens about once a week. Painful. Inconvenient, since I have yet to find a way to treat it. Perhaps it might be related to epilepsy?
