My name is Tedi mommy of Gracelynn 4mos. new. Seizure Disorder/Epilepsy, yes and no. seizures at 3 days new. Pheno bid @ 2.5 ml to 4.5 ml back on 5/4/06 with 2 new seizures now at 5 ml bid with 5 seizures over the weekend. I have requested some new tests with a follow up with her Neurologist next Tues. (5/30). Is this an unreasonable request? Not sure how I am going to handle this long term.

Hey Tedi, No it's not an unreasonable request and two, don't worry right now about handling this long term. It's not something you'll have to deal with every day, day after day. It will come and go. None of us are 'sure how to handle this long term.' You just do and it won't be so awful all the time. I have a seizure disorder after a traumatic brain injury. I wasn't sure how I'd handle either one let alone in the long term! Just take it as it comes. You'll be OK Nancy B.
