Just an intro...

Hi there, I just found this site and thought I'd say hello and tell a bit about myself. My name is Anoop Mathew Alex and I've had temporal lobe epilepsy since 1982, age 4. It seems to be getting better since I started out with absences, moved on to grand mal, had a status seizure once and now am getting by with more or less controlled complex partials.I get them rarely now; about 1 every couple months. I currently take 3600mg of Neurontin and 1400mg of Tegretol per day. I've read some of the posts here and realize there are others who've had to stuggle through much harder situations. But the fact that you guys are handling it gives me hope that I'll be able to as well. Hell, my E wouldn't have progressed if it wasn't for a screwup by a doctor, no less! Ah well, good to know I'm not alone. Wishing everyone here the best and just letting you know I'm there for you in any way I can. Sorry for the rambling 'intro'... Regards, Anoop. p.s. May have come here before, I dunno. Memory just not right lately...
