I'm so happy I found this website

Hi
I've been diagnosed with epilepsy for about 3 years now, but I believe I've had it a lot longer than that. I have complex partial seizures and I seem to have them about every 7-10 days. I've been on several different meds and nothing seems to control my seizures. I lost my driver's license 2 years ago, after smacking up the front end of my Jeep while having a seizure. My life has changed in so many ways over the past few years, some for the good and some for the bad. Anyway, I've been reading some of the posting and it made me feel so much better that I'm not the only person in the world with this problem. I don't know anyone else with epilepsy and the only person who I can get any info from is my Neurologist. So I am thrilled to see all the info from other people with epilepsy, instead of info from medical websites. It's nice to hear from others who are going through the same things I am. So thank you for this website and thanks to all who stop by and share their stories, experiences, advice and wisdom.

Thank you so much Colina, I feel the same way, I thought it was the Lamictal making me cry when I read some of the posting on here. It is so nice to know that there are other people out there going through the same things that I am and the support I've already gotten and given really makes my epilepsy seem not so bad. I no longer feel alone. Thanks!

Welcome to the site Jodi. I too felt a big relief when I found this site, these friends. Made me cry reading others stories that were all so much like my own. I no longer feel alone. Be well and smiles your way.
