I want to stop taking my tablets

Sun, 09/21/2014 - 06:19

Hi everyone,

I am 21, and I've been having epilepsy since I was 10. I tried so many drugs since I was a kid I even had a brain surgery when I was 13. I've been on Oxcarbazepine, Carmabazepine and Rivotril for now about 7 years, and I still have partial seizures. I really want to stop taking them. I feel like it's the tablets that are making me ill. I've recently saw my neurologist, and he wants is to try again and again other tablets. If I stop them would it be worst or better ? I am really confused, I've been taking drugs all my life, somehow if I stop them It might stop my seizures. What do you think ?

Thanks
