Hyponatremia?

Fri, 02/19/2016 - 18:26

Hi. ive had Epilepsy since 2005 when i was 25 years old. We noticed that my seizures occur during the time of my period and late afternoons like at around 5-7 PM. We just saw my endocrinologist and got the results of my latest blood draw. (i only included the low levels).  Could my low TSH and Low sodium cause my seizures? is my sodium level so low that i may have Hyponatremia?

sodium 135 (mEq/L) 136-145
Potassium 3.4 (mEq/L) 3.6-5.4
Protein, total serum 8.1 (g/dL) 5.8-7.9
TSH 0.13 (ulU/mL) 0.35-4.50
MPV 8.9 (fi) 9.4-12.3

The issue may be a slight dosage change to raise your therapeutic levels above what it is now. I hope this helps Joe
