Hey im new, surprise! I joined because i don't know anyone else with epilepsy and my friends can't really understand totally. Im Scottish and am at university in Stirling. It's good fun but i want to learn how not to let epilepsy get in the way of getting the total uni experience! Alcohol and nights out in clubs are tough as they are really hot which for me, triggers seizures. Any ideas guys? Aside from sitting in my room all the time! Claire x

I Claire, I'm Cara. Welcome! I can not do clubs. The lights, the loud music, the alcohol all trigger my seizures. You can have fun without clubbing, though! You just have to make your own fun! Be very careful mixing alcohol with AED's. I hope to hear more from you. Cara
