Had a possible "seizure"; still having tests to see if it was

Wed, 11/16/2016 - 10:23
Very new to this possible condition. Live in a stressful situation plus have not been doing the things should be doing; drinking water; eating regularly; exercising regularly. Had a possible "seizure" which of course, cannot drive for a while. If it WAS a seizure, what lifestyle changes have you found successful; what have you found that has helped it to not happen again? What things have you seen that let you know if you were going to have another one; and what can you do to prevent it? Thanks for your time and thoughts.

Welcome PaulaHad a possible "seizure" which of course, cannot drive for a while  what lifestyle changes have you found successful;  what have you found that has helped it to not happen again? Following my neurologists instructions and keeping a good relationship with them. Always asking questions. I am having a few more seizures what can we do to reduce the number again? Is the increase because of the weight I gained" Can we couple this medication with another one that will help control my seizures better.  I always had questions for them during the visits. For every one they asked I had 2. Medications, other procedures and diets. Oh and yes Doc and I also talked about the possibly of surgery, Tests showed I am not a candidate. What things have you seen that let you know if you were going to have another one; what can you do to prevent it?   I hope this helpsJoePS this site has a lot of thing that you can research so if you have questions research and do use the forum or call the 24/7 help line that number is          1-800-332-1000
