Hey Jasmine good to hear about your memory recovery. I too have had a recent change that way, still not the best but certainly better than it was. Why? Not too sure but very coincidental that it started comming back after my most recent med change or maybe because I am not having as many seizures since the med change.

Up until about 3 and a half years ago my memory was getting worse and worse as my szrs became more regular and severe with the passing years. It had got to the stage of being unable to remember if i had taken my meds. All the usual stuff like birthdays, my own telephone number and ATM numbers were all one big jumble to me. I would often walk past people i had known for years and not recognise them. I think that the cause of most of this was the side effects of my various meds i was taking plus a number of quite bad head injuries sustained during szrs. Then just over 3 years ago i had keppra added to my meds and it was like a fog clearing in my brain, all the connections seemed to join up and i have never looked back. I have been szr free since day one of starting on keppra and my memory is improving all the time. Passwords, code numbers etc hold no fear for me anymore plus i don't get into as much trouble for not remembering names faces and birthdays. I think it is a combination of the new meds added to the fact that I'm not landing face down on the pavement from 6ft on a regular basis that has resulted in my new found mental clarity.
