First seizure 8/22/05

Hello I am new to this web site. I had my first seizure back in Aug and I just had another one last week. I am just trying to figure out what and why this happening to me. I have been on Depakote since Sept and it seems to be changing my personality (so my family tells me). Has anyone else been on it and had the same problems?

Hi Cari, I have had Epilepsy for 30 yrs. I am 39yrs old. My Epilepsy has been under control for 11 yrs. and I received my drivers license in 1996. Regarding your question about Depakote, I have been on it for many years along with Lamictal. It causes you to be a little moody, tired and sometimes you might get mad or angry quicker than usual, at least this has been my experience. Tom
