First seizure

Thu, 01/21/2016 - 21:24

Hi,

I had the first seizure ever last week on Tuesday.  I went out for a good amount of time and my co workers called an ambulance right away.  I was foaming from the mouth and staring off as well as grunting and staring off into space.  I bit my tongue real good and finally came to when the paramedics arrived.  I vaguely remember any of this and can only recall being in the ambulance on the way to the ER, but barely.  I have felt horrible since then and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.  I am now having issues with the pressure in my ear canals changing and having a weird feeling in my head and chest at times.  The ER simply said it was a seizure, ran blood work and a CT scan and said everything looked normal.  I don't feel normal and am worried this is going to happen again.  Does anyone have any input about this and why I am having these symptoms?  I don't have insurance so it's very difficult to see a neurologist for a follow up.  Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated.
