First post - question/venting

So I've had seizure disorder/epilepsy (I'm not sure what the difference is) for about 6 years. I'm averaging one grand mal seizure per year. Thankfully I was in a doctor's office about 4 years ago when I had one and he was able to pinpoint the type of seizure right there.

I'm in a tough spot right now: I work for an auto parts company delivering parts. I had a seizure on Monday (8/18) while on a delivery ( I wasn't driving at the time of the seizure)   I went to a neurologist and she gave me a 48 hour EEG. I'm getting it off today.

I'm really worried though because my boss just called and said that I need a note from the doctor saying that I can drive. I'm almost positive that she is not going to write that note - if anything, she will say the opposite. I've had perfect attendance at this job since I started, I really enjoy the job and the people that I work with, plus the pay is amazing; it's a successful company in NY. I know that they are going to let me go after this because there are no other positions in the company that I'm qualified for.  I have student loans, a car finance, and credit cards. I know it could always be worse, but this is so damn frustrating because I have no control over it.

I guess I'm not really asking a question, rather venting. Has anyone else had to leave a job because of seizures?
