I am from Malaysia.I have browse to your website and i can't find a name for my kind of epilepsy.I was known to epilepsy when I was 10 and I'm 25 years old now. When I was 10 I have and epilepsy by just watching my sister and cousin, but I didn't play the video game. When i was 12 I have and accident in the kitchen, and i got burn on to my body. Then the doctor told me that I have an epilepsy and he doctor told me its from the video game. For now I'm taking Tegretol and Folic Acid for my epilepsy. Now i work as a draughtman at CityHall. In the era of technology i can't escape the thing that trigger my epilepsy.I work with computer and; at home i use the computer and sometimes play games on my pc.I heard from some other people that they can sense they will have an epilepsy. That is not my case.Sometimes i can sense that i have an epilepsy on the way but usually it is very close. Most of the time it just happen without warning. For a while now i've been lucky cause when i have and epilepsy i usually have it home.I think i have insomnia. It is because of the drug?i usually sleep at 3 or 4 a.m For your information i'm a smoker and drive to work.Usually using motorcycle but sometime i drive.I know it is pretty dangerous with my type of condition. My parents have been bragging me to use the public transport but i think it is still the same dangerous thing. What if i suddenly have an epilepsy while i'm crossing the road.Isn't it just the same when you are driving??.I don't know if they understand what i've been going through. It is just like living without a television.I know i can quit smoking, but driving is pretty hard to do.How will i move around?that the hardest part..How will i meet my friends?I can't depend on them to fetch me all the time?how about taxi,it is pretty hard to find taxi after 12 and the rate is double.. To summaries it all is there an alternative treatment for my type of epilepsy?A newer medicine? How do epilepsy people manage their live with other people and make them understand how we feel?
