Do these experiences sound like seizures?

Hello all, I am new here. I have read a few things on here that lead me to suspect that I may have a seizure disorder, but I am not sure. On January 4, 2017, I was out to eat dinner with my mom at Denny's. We had ordered our food and were waiting for it arrive. My mom and I were talking and laughing, the suddenly I got a weird aura of blue squiggly lines/waves in front of my face, felt a bit nauseous and really scared. Then I "passed out", mom said. I scared her badly because I was unconscious for about two minutes. The manager came over and decided to call for an ambulance. I don't remember any of this, but mom said, "You passed out for two minutes, moaned a little, vomited some foamy white stuff, and turned blue around lips and bridge of nose. The you snapped out of it, asked what all fuss was about and passed out again for about 30 seconds and your head was bobbing up and down." I have fainted before, but usually those don't last long and I know they happened. I would get dizzy, feel short of breath, slide down a wall, and within seconds wake up on the floor. I always remember the before and after with those episodes. The Jan 4th incident seemed different, because I was not short of breath or dizzy, and I didn't remember what happened. I was very confused. An EMT asked my SS # and I literally couldn't remember it. Time and space seemed all mixed up. I saw a Neurologist and had an EEG done on April 5, 2017. During the flashing light portion of the test, I felt my body stiffen up and then my eyes were moving really fast and my upper lip kept twitching uncontrollably. Is that normal, or only seen in those with seizures? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!

I forgot to add that in 2015

I forgot to add that in 2015 I had a weird experience as well.  My whole body starting shaking rapidly, uncontrollably one day while I was in the recliner.  Prior to the shaking I saw the blue squiggly lines then, too, but did not lose consciousness.  I called my mom over to help me, because I was really tired and wanted to go to bed.  Before she could help me to bed, I started shaking.  I could hear her ask "what's wrong", but I couldn't answer her.  I tried, but nothing would come out.  It lasted about a minute and a half.  Afterward I was fine and thought I had been dreaming.  On Tuesday of this week I woke up after six hours of sleeping and thought I had a really bizarre dream, because in my 'dream' I was shaking really bad.  When I woke up I wasn't shaking, but was unable to move.  My body was really tense.  I was aware, but couldn't move.  I thought maybe it was sleep paralysis, but now I'm not so sure.As a child I was in trouble frequently in school for daydreaming and not doing my assignments in class.  Even in first grade I wound up with homework every night.  Mom said, "You would tune me out at times, staring blankly and not answer me.  I told your doctor and he dismissed it as you just having selective hearing."  Now we both wonder if they were Absence Seizures.

Your day dreaming at school

Your day dreaming at school could very well have been absence or focal seizures. Your shaking uncontrollably is another type of seizure. As for telling your doctor well depending on the doctor and age of the doctor some would think one way another thinking it might be a seizure or seizures. Not all seizures require a loss of consciousness. The one where you were dreaming you were shaking may not have been a dream it could have been a seizure because in some post ictal states people can't move. So you could have had the seizure and saw it and came out of it hours later in that state. Generally after a seizure where one shakes or convulses they go to sleep and regain their strength and energy. Been there done that. You mentioned the blue squiggly lines a couple of times. If there is time between them and any shaking or other thing happening then it could be an aura or warning that you might have a seizure. As for the EEG there are different effects that they are testing. The flashing light or strobe light is testing for photosensitivity. If they see anything during that portion it will be brought up and explained. If you had a seizure that too will show up. For some people with photosensitive epilepsy a change of the light can cause them to have a seizure. Some that change could be moving from one web page to another. With others a breeze moving a leaf just enough to let in sunlight can.  The neurologist should get back to you regarding the EEG and results. If  your pieces of things had been put together back when you were a kid in school then treatment could have been started back then. For me I wasn't getting written up for day dreaming in class until I was in 6th grade I had my grand mal in 7th grade. I started meds within a week after the grand mal the final tests were done about a year later. This site is the place to go for research you have different sections and they all have a lot of information in then.I hope this helpsJoe
