Could this have been a seizure?

Hello. I'm 28 years old and extremely healthy. I have no and have had no health concerns. I woke up feeling sick to my stomach yesterday and was kind of weak for the biggest part of the day, especially if I was standing. I went to TN w/ my work and we went to Dixie Stampede like we have done every year for over 5 years. I was sitting, looking down at the stage and everything got blurry. I looked to my right at my friend and grabbed her hand. For whatever reason, I started crying really hard and said I'm going to pass out. They said after that, my body started shaking really hard (my head, arms, and legs) and they got me outside to sit down. My right side shook a lot harder than the left and when I was alert again, my right hand / arm continued to shake for a bit longer. My face went numb, and my hands did also. I had absolutely no feeling what so ever in my right hand fingers (pinky, ring, and middle) and very little in my left hand. I wasn't really confused or scared at any point. I couldn't remember anything from the point of saying I was going to pass out to how I got outside. It took about 2-3 minutes to stop my body from shaking completely. The EMT arrived and checked my vitals and they were all perfect. They said I had a severe panic attack but I don't think so. I'm not really leaning toward a seizure either, I'm just really not sure at all. Any input would be greatly appreciated. (Btw, I plan to go to a DR, just haven't had time up to this point. Thank you in advance for any comments!

Good to hear you are planning to see a doc. To get the assistance you need. Have your PCP refer you to a neurologist that specializes in epilepsy. In that visit take the person that was with you so the neurologist can her what she saw and what you went thru. By doing that he gets more information which will help him. Also know if it was a seizure the longer you go without treatment the more rapid the seizures get and they also get stronger. I hope this helps and you get the assistance you need Joe
