Could this had been a seizure?

Sun, 01/08/2017 - 01:19
The other night, I was talking with my wife and all of a sudden a weird, sudden electrical surge, kind of like an electrical wave/shock, hit my brain. It lasted for about 2-3 seconds, and then it was gone. I had no involuntary movement. I was also alert, coherent, and responsive to my wife. In fact, my wife didn't notice anything different when it occurred or after it occurred as I kept continuing our discussion during and after. Afterwards, I was a little dizzy and lightheaded, but that all cleared within 5-10 minutes. I actually have had this symptom one other time and it was 10 months ago. When it occurred 10 months ago, it totally freaked me out and scared me, but I told myself that I would go to the doctor if it happened one more time. Well, it happened the other night and now I am concerned. I will say that I have a 4 month old newborn (first child), so I am sleep deprived and quite stressed. I also know that when it occurred 10 months ago, I was also highly stressed. I am 34 and male, and I have never had a seizure that I know of. I plan on going to my primary care doctor this week and I am hoping to see what I should expect. Thanks.
