Brain tumour and now seizures

Tue, 08/02/2016 - 21:37
Hi everyone, My husband had a brain tumour at age 14, which was removed but came back at age 16. His first symptom was seizures (he would zone out). It was removed again, but they were unable to take the entire tumour, so some still remains it's an oglio tumour). That small price has been monitored every year by MRI and he had no issues whatsoever until January of this year when he had his first seizure (tonic clonic). It was concluded by a neurologist that his seizure was due to an energy supplement he took that day and all was well until this past Saturday when I awoke at 1 am to him in another tonic clonic seizure. They've since put him on Dilantin, which seems to be okay and he isn't having any symptoms. My biggest worry is the fact that he is home alone with out 2.5 year old a lot. We work opposite shifts. He's out for 4 or 5 minutes while having a seizure, and takes a lot time to "come to". I need all of the advice I can get in dealing with this matter. How do we make it safe for him and her? I'm worried sick.
