Are these seizures? I haven't gotten any straight answers.

I don't even know where to really begin, here is the basics. In Dec. 2005 I was in the bathroom with a stomache bug. I began to feel overheated, tingling and numbness, light headed, Sweat terribly, and feel like I was going to throw up. I almost didn't get my sweater off before I passed out. I remember hearing (not feeling or seeing) my head repeatedly hitting the wall in a corner of my bathroom. When I was finally able to get off the floor. I had to call my fiance to help me to the bedroom which was across the hall. He put me in bed and later that night I tried to get up again and the same happened except I made it to the couch before I hit my head again. I don't remember the episode at all on 1/30/06, my fiance said he found me sitting indian style passed out with my head on the sidewalk. He says I may have been there for up to 20 mins. He said when he tried to get me up I continued to babble and make no sense for about 10 mins. I don't remember any of that. I do remember feeling so scared and confused. Like I was asleep and suddenly I totally lost where I was and how I had got there. Both times I hit the right side of my head. above my eyebrow the time in Dec and my Temple and Ear area in Jan. When the dr asked if anything like this had ever happend b4. I remembered that when my Great-Granmother was dying, the family was gathered at the nursing home and then I remember my sister standing over me. She was yelling are u ok? I told her get off me. I was panicked trying to understand what happened. After that I drank juice and ate crackers. I started feeling sick to my stomache and tried to make it in the bathroom to throw up. My hand wouldn't let go of the handle and my arm began to jerk and then I remember sliding down the door as everything went black. I never got that checked out because I thought it was due to stress from loosing my G-Grandmother, we were close. I also had a car accident at 16 and my window went thru the windshield on my left side. I had three layers of stitches, 48 in my temple area and a little into my hairline. they also said they found Incomplete RBBB. but the cardiologist says that is normal for my age (28) and that he doesn't think it's my heart but will do the tests anyway since i have alot of chest pain and palipitations. My MRI had a small spot on it that they didn't feel was clinically signifigant and my EEG showed nothing, though during the fast breathing, I felt almost identical to what I felt in Dec. also I am forgetting conversations I have had with people, and this sounds SO stupid but I looked back at my son's agenda and I even forgot how to sign my name since Jan. I am forgetting a letter. I don't know what to do or who to see, no one seems to have any answers. The Cardiologist says after he completes the testing he will send me to Neurologist. He said from the moment he met me that he thinks it's seizures. I had a 29 wk old preemie a lil over 3 years ago and she had seizures too, so they seem oddly familiar and I use to know before she would have hers sounds weird huh? What is going on and what should I do? Any suggestions? Have any of u experienced anything like this? Thank U for listening.

Ah, I ha been searching for someone else who has simular symptoms as I do. I have similar spells that usually happen only at night. I wake up out of a sound sleep, sweating profusely, sick to my stomach, increased b/p and heart rate, tingling in my extremities. I make it to the bathroom and can not stand up due to weakness. Once I throw up I have right sided seizures causing my arm and leg to "pull up". Sometimes I know they are going to happen if my stomach has the same pain before I go to bed. I have never passed out from them but feel as though I could. I have asked my neuro dr. if these were seizures but she says she doesn't know because my sleep study was normal. After these spells hit me, I am exhusted and go to sleep for hours. I also need alot of sleep for a few days following these episodes. I do have a diagnosis of complex partial seizure and absent seizure disorder. My left temp. lobe is effected. This happened after my open heart surgery. I noticed I was forgetting alot of things and blacking out for a few seconds. I told my cardiologist I was afraid to go back to work. I am a nurse by trade and was afraid I would give someone the wrong meds due to my memory problem. My cardiologist sent me to a neuro. dr. who then had physc. testing done. I physc. dr. said the test were normal and that these spells were all in my head. I had an EEG done after that which showed multipule seizures. That is how I was diagnosed. I also have tonsilar etopica, where the brain stem protudes through the opening of the skull and spine. I have had the episodes that you have discribed for years, that seem to be getting worse, but know one can tell me if they are related to my epilepsy. I have right side weakness in my arm and leg, which causes tremors. I also have GI problems. I have been seeking advise from a gastro. dr. to see if it has something to do with the GI. (I have been seeing him for over a year for this, still no answers) I wish I had an answer for you! I really think that you should see a neurologist at least that can help you with these episodes. They sound like seizures if your body is "jerking" and you are blacking out. I had an abnormal EEG, but I have also had normal EEG's. This can happen with epilepsy! Read about EEG's. Have you had a MRI of the head or EMG done? These can also be helpful.
