About a month ago I started having little seizures. one morning I had a grand Mal seizure then trough out the day went back to having little ones then again that night I had grand Mal seizures then after the second passed out and continued to have extremely vivid dreams that I was still having them. for the last week's I have only had the little ones until tonight I had another grand Mal seizure then passed out and was dreaming that I had another one. I had an mri done today but do not know the results yet. but tonight before I went to bed I turned on a sleep tracker and it recorded where I had the first one and the tracker picked up a lot of movement when I had the one in my dream. is it possible that the ones in my dreams are actual seizures?

Welcome ChyleYou did not post weither you had seen a neurologist or had started taking medications to stop thelittle seizures. There are 2 main tests that are done to help with a diagnosis. One is an EEG which is a brain wave test showing the electrical activity in your brain during the EEG. The other is an MRI which shows the brain as it is. What causes a seizure is an electrical impulse hitting wrong causeing a chain reaction. The EEG is a test which can show where in your brain those electrical impulses came from. The MRI shows what your brain looks like and if there is ANYTHING different showing on it. Anything on it that is not normal can cause an electrical impulse to hit wrong. Some of those things could be a cist, a brain cell that grew wrong, or scar tissue.. Those are just a few of the things that can cause the impulses to hit wrong. So the MRI you had will only show the brain and not show a seizure activity (not a seizure utself) which is what neurologists want to see.People that have nocturnal seizures can have seizures withoutknowing they have them and yesit is possible to that those dreams could be seizures.Have you talked to a neurologist about these. If not you do need to do that. If you are or have taken medications the dosages may need to be changed.
