Hi there! I'm forty-three and had had epilepsy most of my life (Yowsa!)

I enjoy reading and recently read "Think of a Number," "Deeper than the Dead", "Ashes to Ashes", "Dust to Dust", and "61 Hours." I'm also reading"Broke USA: From Pawnshops to Poverty, Inc. : How the Working Became Big Business" and "The Chronic Illness Experience: Embracing the Imperfect Life."

I have 2 college age kids. One is a graduate of SAIT and works in NonDestructive Testing. The other is in his fourth year of his B. Sc. He's majoring in both comp. sc. and mathematics.

I do cross stitch and have been working one out of the "Naughty but Nice Cross Stitch" book:"This isn't an office-it's HELL with fluorescent lighting."I make lots of Looney Tunes designs too, my favorites being Marvin and Taz. I recently made a Winnie the Pooh birth announcement for my niece's baby!

My kids and I have three dogs--one dog lives with me. We had  cats too, but they passed on last year.

I listen to lots of radio--fm, satellite, and internet radio. Favorite Channels are Boneyard, Octane, Fungus, the Buzz, Rock Radio 1, and Rock 101. I enjoy lots of concerts and am going to Disturbed/Avenged Sevenfold this Sunday. I also saw Rob Zombie with Alice Cooper this year and will likely see Ozzy in November.

Don't watch much tv but I like watching my hockey.

I work full-time unloading cans, and the best part about my job is most of the people are great!  I also have full benefits so that's nice.

So, that's a bit about me.

Take care.

Hi, Shannon. You can call me TC. I'm 40 and a man, and I'm new here too. I agree with you - there is a whole lot more than just e. Hope your weekend is going well.
