Naps after work

Wed, 08/31/2011 - 22:08
Hello everyone, I live with a friend who has EP and we have recently come across a rather interesting situation. He works 8 hours a day with no issues and his seizures are under control (he's had only one this year). Lately he has been coming home and taking naps about an hour long. When he wakes he seems "spacy" in his cognition, and he's described his vision like this: "it's like a camera taking several pictures ( frames) when I look from one place to another". He hasn't had a seizure from taking naps but it is concerning. I know these symptoms sound like auoras but they are not as serious as when he actually has a seizure. Can anyone shed some light on what may be happening? Should he not take naps during the day? Have you experienced anything like this?
