Jaw pain and stuttering
Sat, 12/13/2014 - 00:55I was just recently diagnosed with epilepsy and am new to all the effects of tonic clonic seizures. I've had several in the past month. Is it normal to have jaw pain/stiffness. Like it's hard to open my mouth to put food in and hard to chew on it. It's just on the right side though. Also, I'm having trouble speaking. It's like my thoughts come but the words won't come out when they should or how they should.

Hi dearfairchild, I noticed that I never relaxed my jaw in the days between seizures (complex partial seizures) and my teeth and jaw ached a lot. It still does from time to time. Also, I absolutely have trouble finding words, it's so frustrating and scary I hate it
