iPhone app sync

I've been using My Epilepsy Diary iphone app for about a month and all was fine until a week or so ago when it stopped syncing with the on-line diary. It doesn't matter where I make an entry, on the web or the iPhone, it stopped syncing both ways. I tried changing the app preferences to prompt for my login info hoping that might "reconnect" the two but it didn't work.
Also, a couple of weeks ago the app lost an entire week of entries. Unfortunately, the two were still syncing at that time so I don't have those entries on-line either.
I've emailed the webmaster twice, but I haven't received a reply as of yet. Does anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot?
