Seizure symptoms but not confirmed

Hi all, My name is Alex and I am 23 years old. I have been experiencing seizure like symptoms for a little over 2 years now. There are 2 kinds of symptoms for me, one remains conscious and the other will lead to unconscious with severe pain involved. Type 1 begins with my right leg hamstring having contracting motion so pulling it backwards which I have to grab onto my bedside and fight against it in order to prevent falling over and lasts for under a minute with me being fully conscious of whats happening throughout - this is type 2. For type 2 which is much more scary for me because it makes induce severe pain to me and slowly makes me pass out. It starts very much alike with type 1, with my right leg hamstring pulling backwards. Then the calf muscle would start to contract and cramp up with severe pain and my entire body will begin to stiff up including my upper body and arms. I do not know how long it lasts for but probably around 5 minutes or so. I will then wake up myself being exhausted both mentally and physically, a little bit depressed. My whole body kind of just become powerless and will require several days to recover. The frequencies for both is not very stable but type 1 does occur more often and type 2 is more like once a month. I went for a doctor about 3 months ago and did a MRI scan, where result could not be identified. The doctor did not know what is going on with me since the images he got tell that my brain is very much normal. He did say that I could try Keppra to see if it works but its all up to me. I did start taking them, 250mg once before bed since my symptoms mostly occur during my sleep. I have been taking them for 2 weeks daily. Luckily I do not experience any side effect. However, I experienced type 1 again 2 days ago and this morning. I do not know what to do. I do talk to my parents about my situation but I do not want them to be worried too much so I keep the occurrence to myself most of the time. Even the doctor does not have a clue on me.

Keep a little logbook and track your different types of occurrences and how often. You can keep it private to yourself but do show it to you Dr it can help a lot with figuring out what is going on. Even just basic info like date time and type of event. I also note anything unusual I was doing the day before. There is an online version on this website I think.
