Zonegran for Infants

Sat, 10/22/2005 - 00:26
My daughter, Corgan, is 12 months old. She was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth, and has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy although her innitial EEG was inconclusive. They believe she is having infantile spasms, but it could be partial/focal seizures. She has been on Zonegran for about a week. I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with such young children on this drug. So far I have not noticed much improvement; her most severe side effect seems to be drowsiness. Any experience/advice will be greatly appreciated.
