Most people I would think would be on meds no matter what. It is the safest thing. And POSSIBLE you could be seizure free since you dont have many. But that really depends on your situation. If you are person who dont want to be on meds, then you should get on a good diet and vitamins and take care of yourself. Even if you were on meds you should get on a good diet. take care Lisa http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/epilepsyapproach/

Hi akepi. Really you should

Hi akepi. Really you should get this checked out properly. If I was in your shoes, I would. But, only you can decide what to do, and what is best for you. Angel points out why. The link points out why. I don't know if you have a problem around disclosure, say for your employment as an example. Or if there is some other underlying reason here. I'm not asking, or prying, or fishing for information. Just trying to help, and be supportive. Keep us posted. Cat. It is extremely important for important for anyone who has had a seizure to see a doctor. Even people who have not had a big, obvious seizure should see a doctor if they suspect (or people tell them) that there are periods during which they are not aware of what they're doing. The doctor will try to determine whether a seizure has occurred. If so, was it caused by some medical condition (diabetes, for instance) that may need treatment? Or is the problem epilepsy? If it's epilepsy, more tests may be needed and usually medicines will be prescribed to prevent further seizures. http://www.epilepsy.com/101/diag101_doctor.html "Many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1

After reading about Keppra,

After reading about Keppra, and other drugs, I am really scared of the side effects - moodiness, anger, depression, memory problems, weight gain, hair loss, etc., etc. I have seen a doc and had MRIs, EEGs that have shown nothing...I am in good health with no diabetes or other medical conditions.
