Hi,everyone I'm new to this website but I started to take Keppra and Dilantin for my Generalized Tonic-Clonic Seizures. I've had Insomnia for 2 weeks and it's killing me, when I don't get enough sleep I tend to be cranky!!!! THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK!:)

Hi Steph, I also take Keppra and Dilantin for my Complex Partial TLE(one Grand Mal). I also don't sleep very well, but I do sleep better since they added the Dilantin. At this time, I am on 2500mg Keppra and 400mg Dilantin. Although I have a hard time staying asleep I am tired a lot and I don't generally have much problem falling asleep. My problem is that once I wake up, going back to sleep is not so easy. Hope the sandman is there for you soon. Rita~

Hi Steph and welcome! The keppra caused me quite a few sleepless nights but eventualy my sleep patterns got more regular, in fact they are better than before when I was always sleeping. Good luck and hang in there. Smiles!
