webpage w/ meds side-effects?

Thu, 01/04/2007 - 14:22
Is there a webpage that has common AED's and their respective side effects along with what kinds of seizures they treat? I'm hoping to find a grid that can list them side by side for comparison purpose.

Pamela, I've looked at different sites and the best is still right at E.com. Check out the Medicine Chart at E.Com. It lists them all and there all up to date on the information. In my opinion, the best thing to do is to click on each med, in the blue box on the right click on "What is _______ used for?", and get the info from there and make your on chart. That way, you'll have up-to date-info and can add any should you need to. I notice it doesn't have Epilem on the chart. Epilem is in the Valproic Acid family (Depakene, Depakote). If I come across a site that has the same up-to-date info and all the ones listed, I'll post it on here. :) -Spiz

Hi, I have seen many charts like this in medical journals and will see if there is one we can use here. However, these can be misleading as they leave out much info, and they quickly get outdated. Agree with Spiz to look at info for each drug.

Here is link to webpage on the professional site with even more detail on drug interactions and use of the individual drugs.
